Monthly Membership Information
Seasonal members are financially responsible for the following:
Remote Gate Key
When
you apply for monthly membership at the campground, you will
need to purchase a remote control gate key from the office. You
will most likely purchase this when you make your first month’s
deposit. You will need this remote to get access to the
monthly/seasonal camping area, where your RV will be located.
This ensures that unwanted visitors will not be allowed to enter
this area. We charge $25.00 for each remote. When you leave the
campground, the remote is yours to keep - you may reprogram the
remote for a garage, etc.
Electric Bill
Berkshire campground is not responsible for issuing your monthly
electric bill. It is the camper’s responsibility to contact AEP
to get electric service put into their name. Visit the camp
office for information on how to do this.
Monthly Membership Dues
You are
responsible for your monthly membership dues in the amount of
$395.00. You will not receive an invoice for your monthly
membership dues. These dues are owed on the first day of each
month. You are given a grace period until the 5th day of each
month. If your payment is not received by 4:00p.m. on the 5th
day of the month, you will be charged a $30.00 late fee for that
month. If payment is still not received by the 5th day of the
following month, your monthly membership may be revoked and your
trailer removed from your lot.
Lot Care
If at
any time our management sees your lot as unkempt, someone from
our grounds maintenance department will take care of your lot
for you, at your expense. We ask that you keep your lawn trimmed
and your lot clean. If your lot is found to be unkempt by
management, you will be billed for the service of having it
taken care of for you. Generally, we charge $75.00 for cleaning
up a lot and $25.00 for mowing the lawn. You will be billed for
this when the service is completed, and will have 30 days from
the issue date to pay this invoice in full. If the invoice
remains unpaid, on the 31st day, a $10.00 late fee will be added
to your account. For each month the invoice remains unpaid, an
additional $10.00 late fee will be added to your account.
Removing Your Trailer
You
must give us 30 days notice prior to removing your trailer from
the campground. Before your trailer is pulled off your lot, you
will be responsible for making your account current. Our
maintenance department charges $100.00 for moving any said
trailer. Trailers will be moved Mondays - Thursdays only. This
includes moving an trailer from one lot to another, or pulling
the trailer off the lot all together (putting it in storage, or
pulling it up front to be taken out of the campground). This
payment is due at the time of service. Trailer will not be moved
until this payment is made.
Payments
All
payments must be in the form of cash, money order, local check
(central Ohio only), Visa, or MasterCard. Payment may be mailed
or dropped off to our record keeper (during regular camping
season this will be located at the camp office/store). If you
are unsure of your account status, please feel free to contact
management or records to retrieve that information. Late fee
notices will be mailed out on the 6th day of each month. If we
receive your payment after this date via u.s. mail and it is
postdated on or before the 5th day of that month, your late fee
will be void. Feel free to call if you have a question as to
whether or not your payment was received, however be aware that
these uniform letters will be sent out promptly on the 6th day,
and that these letters will reflect our records as of that date.
